DiPietro allowed me to favor an intersectional, transnational, and decolonial feminist framework and to think critically about social problems I would have otherwise dismissed. Jeremy Tarr was born in 1989 to a blue collar family and raised in the working class neighborhoods of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. 342 Life Sciences Complex Professor Drake earned a Ph.D. in sociology from the University of California, Irvine, and a B.A. Show up to recitation, ask questions, submit all homework, do alright on exams and you should pass. One of the assignments was a freebie, like 20 questions that you had weeks to answer and were completely open note. There are readings, but Prof Dowell covers everything in lecture and I didn't find it necessary to read unless I was feeling like I didn't understand. He is currently working on an ethnographic study of students and families experiencing homelessness in Central New York and New York City. This is my 2nd class with Prof. Morgan, and I honestly think he's the best professor I've had so far at SU. Housing sucks, people are racist, the food sucks, and the weather is the worst. All essay based, no tests. She won't post any notes online, you have to go to class to get the notes but class is really boring. Professor Morgan is one of the best professors I have had at SU. My favorite thing about this class is that there is no textbook. I think this class is really easy actually if you study properly for the exams. School is great. Comparative physiology of decapod crustacea. You also need to go to recitation which are all on Friday and are taught by TA's that don't speak English very well. Professor DiPietro is one of the best teachers I've ever had. However in lectures he overcomplicates the concepts, and he says in the beginning of the course that he designs homework so you need help. Might just be me expecting this to be an easy 101 class, but look elsewhere if you have a heavy workload within your major and need to fulfill a lab requirement.
Unless you took AP Physics, it's easy to get lost. The hardest part is actually the multiple choice surprisingly. Every SU student should take one of Professor Morgan's classes.
